Ever wondered what your manager does with his salary? In Football Manager, your wage is just a number in the contract. ManagerLife changes that: it is a free FM26 mod that brings back the personal life layer from FIFA Manager 14 and takes it further. Your wage now goes into a private account, and from there you decide where you live, how you live and who you share your life with.
The mod is by eveigaDev and, interestingly, it is translated into European Portuguese. The latest version is 1.0.7, from 24 October 2026.

What ManagerLife brings
Your money
Your net salary is paid into a personal account every month, with a statement of income and expenses. If you spend more than you have, you go into overdraft and pay interest.
Housing
Stay in a hotel, rent or buy, from a studio flat to a mansion, priced for the city you manage in. You can also buy property to let and earn rent.
Lifestyle
Pick a simple, comfortable or luxurious lifestyle. Then buy cars, boats, aircraft, watches, art and more. Some of these purchases do more than look nice.
Family
You can meet someone, date, move in together, get engaged and marry. Each partner has FM-style attributes such as ambition, temperament, loyalty or expensive tastes, which you get to know over time. Later, you can have children, choose their schools and watch them grow up.
If your manager already has a family, you set it up once at the start: partner, children, stepchildren or adopted children, with faces from the game’s own generator. To keep the relationship going there are gifts, breakfasts, lunches and dinners (based on the game clock) and family trips. While you are away, your assistant takes charge.
Events and decisions
There are dozens of events across the season, such as job offers for your partner, school trouble, dodgy investments, charity matches or ad campaigns. Some choices reach the dressing room: a messy divorce or a night out after a defeat can hit your squad’s morale.
Requirements
- FM26 on Windows or on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 to M4).
- BepInEx 6, because ManagerLife is a plugin. The zip includes a step-by-step guide for Windows and Mac.
- It works with existing saves: just install it and carry on. Removing it later does not affect your save.
The mod is in English, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Spanish, and follows the game language. The panel matches your skin’s colours and opens from a «Life» tab next to «Career», or with F10.

- First, install BepInEx 6 in FM26 if you do not have it yet.
- Extract the zip and follow the README.txt, which covers installing BepInEx and the mod on Windows and Mac.
- Open the game, load your save and look for the «Life» tab next to «Career» (or press F10).
If you find a problem
The author asks you to send the mod version, your operating system, what happened and the BepInEx/LogOutput.log file. Send the log right after the problem, because it is rewritten every time the game starts. The contact is eveigadev@gmail.com.
