Like FM27’s original look but want a darker, tidier version? The FM.Zweierkette Skin does just that. It is made by NorsemanLP together with FM.Zweierkette, one of Germany’s biggest Football Manager content creators. So it keeps the game’s interface almost the same, but with dark backgrounds and red details.

What the FM.Zweierkette Skin changes
- Dark version: backgrounds become dark instead of the game’s purple.
- FM.Zweierkette colours: for example, highlights turn red, in the creator’s colours.
- Its own backgrounds: also, the skin brings the usual FM.Z style backgrounds.
- Close to the original: the idea is not to change the interface too much, but to improve it step by step.

For now, this is a base version, with colour and background changes only. However, the author says more improvements are coming. Meanwhile, a «Plus» version with stadium pictures and other extras is in the works.

FM.Zweierkette Skin download
This is version 27.0.45, and the file is only 5 KB, as a .7z. So you need 7-Zip or WinRAR to open it. The link is the one on the FM.Zweierkette site.

- First, extract the .7z.
- Then copy the folder inside to
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 27\skins. If theskinsfolder does not exist, create it. - Next, restart FM27.
- Finally, pick the skin in the game’s preferences and click «Confirm».
Things to watch
The skin needs a minimum resolution of 1920×1080 to display properly. So on smaller screens some panels may look out of place, but the author says he is working on it. Also, you can use it in a save you have already started, because it only changes the look. Finally, if you prefer other dark skins, see the Nev Skin or the TangFu Skin.
