FM24 Frankenstein: the skin built from the best of ten skins

Some skins are born from a plan and others grow over the years. FM24 Frankenstein is the second kind. Its author, Holzi, kept stitching together his favourite parts of other skins into one, never intending to publish it. Now that the FM24 era is over, he decided to share it, and the result is one of the most complete FM24 skins we have seen.

Since it was published in July 2026, the skin has had two updates. The latest version is 1.2, from 1 October 2026.

Where each piece comes from

The name is no accident. FM24 Frankenstein is a patchwork of several well-known skins, and the author makes a point of crediting each one:

  • Rensie: the base of the whole skin.
  • WTCS: the club overview, the tactics screen and parts of the nation page.
  • Mustermann: the pizza chart, archetypes, the Data Hub, the board room and competition stats.
  • Statman: the polygons, the bar chart and the inspiration for player comparison.
  • Flut, FM24 Light, Just, TangFu, Andromeda and SAS: parts of team analysis, news, cup draws, scoreboards, the competition round-up and the sidebar bookmarks.

The author also added his own work, such as the all-players view of the squad, which several forum users call a small masterpiece.

What changed in versions 1.1 and 1.2

In version 1.1 (13 September), the author:

  • fixed alignments and colours;
  • added the number of full matches played (the «90s») to the player profile stats;
  • added a «Statman» tab to the club overview;
  • created two new scoreboards, for Germany’s 3. Liga and DFB-Pokal;
  • and added a selector to change the player photo style (normal, home kit front or back, or away).

Then, in version 1.2 (1 October), he fixed more alignments and reworked the hierarchy and social group panels, with bigger player pictures. The highlighted stats now use the competition background, and fixtures show each club’s logo and league position.

Mind the resolution

This is the most important point before downloading. The skin was made only for the author’s screen: 1920×1200, 100% zoom and the full sidebar (not icons only). At other resolutions some panels may be misaligned, and the author warns he will not fix resolution issues. Anyone is free to adapt it to their own screen, though.

On the forum, for example, a player on a 2560×1440 monitor had to tweak the pizza chart, and the author explained which line to change. Others reported that player comparison did not work on their computer. Some translations also remain in German.

Attributeless version

For those who like playing blind, the MOD folder includes an attributeless version: just replace the skin files with the ones in MOD/Attributeless. There is also an option to hide the ability and potential stars: copy the MOD/icons folder into the skin’s graphics folder.
