FM Base | FM21 Real Names License Fix by Darkness V5: 20/12/2020
The most complete real names fix for Football Manager is back in its FM21 version. Under my username "Darkness", I have been releasing regular updates and several database related files since 2009, and that longevity shows in the quality of the files.

Always reinstall this fix after every Football Manager patch/update.
Instructions
- Find the 2111 folder:
- Windows (Steam): \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data\database\db\2111\
- Windows (Epic Games): \Program Files\Epic Games\FootballManager2021\data\database\db\2111\
- Mac (Steam): /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2021/database/data/db/2111/
- Mac (Epic Games): /Users/Shared/Epic Games/FootballManager2021/database/data/db/2111/
- Open the folder lnc and go into the subfolder all.
- Delete all the files you find there, especially these three: fake.lnc, lic_dan_swe_fra.lnc and nleague.lnc.
- Move the file "FM Base | FM21 Real Name Fix by Darkness (LNC)" into that folder all.
- Go 2 folders back to find the folder edt and go into the subfolder permanent.
- Delete the file fake.edt. This stops Niko Kovač from being renamed Max Freund, and Oliver Kahn from being renamed Jens Freund.
- Go 2 folders back again, this time to the folder dbc, and delete these files (fixes Juventus): zebra award.dbc and zebra turin fake staff new.dbc.
- Now go into the subfolder permanent and delete: brazil_kits.dbc, forbidden names.dbc, Licensing2.dbc and Licensing2_chn.dbc. This stops Brazilian clubs from reverting to 3-letter names and makes certain kits visible again.
