FMLife gives your manager a life away from football in FM27. Made by LordKalmus, this free mod adds family, relationships, money, homes and decisions that stay with you throughout your career. It also reads your Football Manager career, and some choices can change your manager’s attributes, or even get you sacked.

What FMLife brings
- Your office: an office with panels you can arrange however you like.
- Phone and meetings: for example, you get calls and messages and hold face-to-face meetings, with decisions that have consequences.
- Hundreds of stories: situations with your family, players, staff, the board and your personal life.
- Family and relationships: meet people, date, get married and have children. You can even use photos of your real family.
- Money: manage your wage, taxes, savings, pension and family spending, in any of the game’s currencies.
- Homes, cars and trips: also, find a home, buy cars and plan trips around your matches.
- Coaching courses: pay for your courses with your own money, even when unemployed.
Your partner also has a career and can help with the household bills. On the other hand, your children move through school stages based on their age and country. Finally, there is a trophy room with the titles you have won.
FMLife download
The version is 0.6 and the author publishes it on Patreon, in a free post. So the mod is and will stay free, and supporters only get updates two weeks early. It works on Windows, with FM27 on Steam, Epic and Game Pass, and there is a test build for Apple Silicon Macs on Steam.
- First, download the Windows .zip from the Patreon post and open it.
- Then copy all the files into the folder where FM27 is installed. On Steam, it is usually
Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 27. - Next, when Windows asks whether to replace the files, accept.
- Finally, start the game. On Mac, installation takes more steps, including a Steam launch option, which the author explains in the post.
Things to watch
Menus follow your FM language, but where there is no translation the text shows in English. Also, it is still version 0.6, so bugs may show up. Back up your save before you start. Finally, for another mod like this, see ManagerLife.
