ManagerLife FM27 – your manager’s personal life, by eveigaDev

Ever wondered what your manager does with that salary? ManagerLife FM27 answers that: it is a free mod that adds your manager’s personal life, in the style of the old Fifa Manager 14. Your wage goes into a personal account, and from there you decide where you live, how you live and who you share your life with. The mod is by eveigaDev (Eduardo Veiga) and now has an FM27 version, the same as the FM26 one but rebuilt for the new game.

What ManagerLife FM27 brings

  • Money: your net salary goes into a personal account every month, with a full statement of income and expenses. Run out of money and you go into overdraft, with interest.
  • Housing: stay in a hotel, rent or buy, from a studio flat to a mansion, priced for your city. You can also buy property to let.
  • Lifestyle: simple, comfortable or luxurious, with cars, boats, aircraft, watches and art.
  • Family: meet someone, date, marry and have children, and choose their schools. Each partner has FM-style attributes such as ambition, temperament or loyalty.
  • Events: dozens of situations across the season, and some reach the dressing room. For example, a messy divorce or a night out after a defeat can hit your squad’s morale.

The mod is available in Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), among other languages, and follows the game’s language. It also matches your skin’s colours and opens from a «Life» tab next to «Career», or with F10.

ManagerLife FM27 download

The file already includes BepInEx set up for FM27, for Windows and for Apple Silicon Macs (M1 to M4), so installing is simpler than with other mods.

How to install:
  1. First, read the README.txt file in the .zip, step by step.
  2. On Windows, copy everything inside BepInEx-Windows into the game folder, where fm.exe is. Then copy the ManagerLife folder into BepInEx\plugins.
  3. On Mac, run install_mac.sh in Terminal and paste the line it gives you into Steam’s launch options.
  4. Finally, open the game. The first start with BepInEx takes a few minutes, which is normal.

Things to watch

ManagerLife works with existing saves, and removing it later does not affect your save. If you already have BepInEx working, just copy the ManagerLife folder. However, the author does not support BepInEx itself, only the mod. If you find a bug, send the BepInEx/LogOutput.log file straight away, as it is rewritten every time the game starts.
