Some players never stop making headlines. At 46, Ronaldinho Gaúcho has signed for Italian Serie C side Ravenna, and so he is back in Football Manager. Ronaldinho in FM27 became one of the first stories of the Launch Preview, and his attributes got everyone talking.
The comeback nobody expected
Ronaldinho had not played professionally since 2015, when he was at Fluminense. However, the former Barcelona number 10 is back on the pitch at Ravenna, and Sports Interactive put him in the game. The first to show his profile was YouTuber DoctorBenjyFM, who had access to FM27 before the Launch Preview and threw down the challenge on X: if you are not signing Ronaldinho on day one, are you even playing FM27 correctly?

In the game, he is under contract at Ravenna until June 2027 on £370–£480 a week. His market value is zero, and his profile still lists 99 caps for Brazil and 190 career goals.
Ronaldinho’s FM27 attributes
First, the magic is still there. For example, he has 20 flair, the maximum, and 18 vision. He also has 16 first touch and technique, and 15 for free kicks and penalties. His traits match, too: trying killer balls, doing tricks and getting the crowd going.

But the physical side is another story. Acceleration and stamina are at 3, and pace, agility and strength at 4. In other words, he is a genius who barely moves and does not last long on the pitch.

What the community says
Reactions are split. Some think 16 technique is too low for Ronaldinho, and others find it odd that he has more crossing (14) than dribbling (12). Others say he should have more composure and concentration. Still, many already want him as their first signing, if only for the joke of 20 flair next to 4 pace.
Our take
SI got the essentials right: a 46-year-old Ronaldinho should look exactly like this, with magic in his feet and nothing in his legs. He will not win you trophies, though. Keep him for a fun save or a lower-league club, as a luxury sub for the final minutes and free kicks. After all, he costs next to nothing.
