Updated version: Football Manager 2027 News: what we already know

After a cryptic tweet from Miles Jacobson on the night of 5 August, announcing the end of an era and sparking a whirlwind of speculation about what it might mean, the very next day Sports Interactive released the promotional video for Football Manager 2019, featuring the series' new logo and its release date. None other than 2 November!

A new season, a new look and new leagues
Not only has the logo changed, but the traditional image of a manager on the game's cover is gone too. It's been replaced by his own view of the pitch, as the teams get ready to walk out of the tunnel onto the field.
The newly licensed German league is one of this version's big highlights, alongside the graphical improvements and the introduction of dozens of new features, which will only be revealed over the coming days, right up until the game's release. All told, Football Manager 2019 aims to take the simulation's realism to a whole new level in this new edition.

Already available for pre-order — tread carefully
For now, the game is already available for pre-order, but be careful: only use official retailers, otherwise you risk missing out on access to the game's beta version, which should be released about two weeks before the final launch.
