That is August in Portugal: the league kicks off, but the village festivals are not over yet. And apparently, not in Football Manager either.
A village festival by the pitch
In a Braga vs Sporting game in FM2018, just 3 minutes in, we spotted a detail that was not in the script: a fair stall set up right next to the pitch, by the advertising boards. All that was missing was the music.
It was one of those visual bugs FM gives us every now and then. We prefer to believe it was the festival bar, with chouriço bread and beer for half-time. A good eye for business, then.
