The Transfer Budget Mega Fix, by McfcHazza, fine-tunes club transfer budgets and bank balances in FM26 so they sit closer to real life. It is a tiny file, about 20 kB, and it has already passed 5,000 downloads.
Version 1.1, from 6 November 2025, fixed Barcelona and Newcastle and added the top four women’s leagues and the Saudi Pro League. For now the file only touches club finances: player wages and release clauses are left for a later stage, according to the author.
Leagues included
- Men’s: Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League.
- Women’s: Women’s Super League, the French Division 1, the Frauen-Bundesliga and Serie A Women. The Spanish women’s top flight has no fixes yet.
Clubs with a negative bank balance, such as Nottingham Forest and West Ham, end up with a transfer budget of zero. If you play in Portugal, this file does not reach our leagues: for that, check Tucko’s budgets, which cover the Portuguese first and second divisions.

- Download the file with the button above.
- Put the .fmf file in the FM26 editor data folder (Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\editor data).
- Start a new game, select the file in the database list and make sure transfers are enabled.
- New versions of the file only take effect in a new game.
