Left-backs are becoming more and more important in modern football. On this page we have gathered the best young left-backs and left wing-backs in Football Manager 2027 (FM27), all under 23 and with huge room to grow.
As well as defending, a good left-back has to provide width, deliver crosses and pop up in central areas. The Position column shows whether a player is a left-back (LB) or a left wing-back (LWB).
The highlights
At the top of this list are Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City, England), Miloš Kerkez (Liverpool, Hungary) and Lewis Hall (Newcastle United, England). In total there are 59 left-backs under 23, ranked from highest to lowest potential.
