Adding teams to the competition structure

Download

Ever had a youth team with no domestic competition matches halfway through a save? Or a B team that, even though it is better than the first team, never gets out of the district leagues? That happens because the team is not part of the competition structure, so it only plays a few friendlies.

Halfway through a save, you can add any team to the structure using a simple cheat that just needs a bit of care.

With this cheat engine table you can edit practically everything in your save, but here we will go straight to the point.

Note: I have tested this table twice and it worked perfectly. Even so, always back up your save first, and play on for a while until you see your team in the competition. If that happens, everything is validated and there shouldn't be any bugs.

How to do it

  1. Download cheat engine and install it, along with the table.
  2. Extract the table folder wherever you like and open the file .CT.
  3. Select always, click yes and then ok.
  4. Go to edit > settings, enable dark mode support and close cheat engine.
  5. Open the game and load your save.
  6. Open the file again .CT and click ok.
  7. Click run table and wait a moment. It usually takes up to 15 seconds, depending on your machine and the size of the save.
  8. Go to useful tools > Open Swap Manager.
  9. The layout makes it fairly clear: select the team you want to remove and your team. In my case, I went to the team U.S.D. Sestri Levante 1919 Sub-20, switched to the Swap Manager window and clicked Load. The first team shows up first by default, so just open the dropdown and choose the under 20 team; on the other side, do the same for your team.
  10. You will notice the script checks a series of requirements first. You can only swap the teams if everything is TRUE . If everything is fine, click Apply.
  11. Done. Play on one day and close cheat engine. Your team will take part in that competition from next season.
